Purple

I know that you have been given the directive to surround yourself with the healing colors of green and yellow. I support that. (Go Ducks.)

But I would like to offer you another color today: purple. It's a royal color, but purple is also the color of long skirts and Birkenstocks. It's the color of wool socks and black coffee in a chipped mug. Purple gives you dessert peaches and a tarot card reading. It's a quiet night by the woodstove with a Black Butte porter, some dark chocolate, and a good book.

I'm seeing you in purple today. Take some strength from the color and the person we knew who wore it so well.
